Founded in 1985, the Italian school in Rome is one of the most prestigious international centers in Italy. The school has highly qualified native teachers with dynamic and participatory techniques, and are specialists in Italian culture.
It is located in the centre of the capital, behind the Sant´Angelo Castle and opposite the Vatican city, near the Plaza del Resurgimiento and the town. A five minute walk from the Tiber river, from the well known area of Lungotevere dei Mellini, surrounded by shops, cinemas and restaurants, and is well connected with the metro stations of Ottaviano and Lepanto.
The school has a perfect location near the San Pedro church, in a residential district in the city centre where you can find the most famous commerical areas. After class, you will be able to relax and walk through the Popolo plaza, Via del Corso or Villa Borghese, as they are very close to the school.

Rome is the Eternal city which conserves the legacy of its history of architecture as much as the character. Etruscan tombs, Imperial temples, Roman churches, Medieval towers, Renaissance palaces, Baroque basilicas - there are centuries of history that pass before the visitors eyes. More than three millennia old, Rome fascinates for its excitement and hectic lifestyle that seems to be slowed down with the marvellous illuminations of the buildings and the white marble statues as witnesses. It is clear that the Romans gave all their vitality. The Italian capital also enjoys the latest trends in fashion and cutting-edge activities. Rome is a sure hit for experiences and discoveries.
Walking around Rome isn´t just walking round an old city full of archaeological remains; Rome is the memory of gladiators fighting life or death in the Coliseum, the fast chariot races in the Circus Maximus, and also the vision of the wise Roman forum strolling while talking about democracy.
